getting some problems.

I found some problems.
One is Banana of V brake. When I turn to the left deeply, the banana touches the Pivot shell and the banana's form is changed. I changed the way which the wire pass. at least I should use 90 degrees or flexible Banana here.

 The other one is about pivot. The bolt is tied enough, but after riding, it can be tied more. Maybe Bearings's form changed.
I made spacer which length 27.5 mm inner diameter 12 mm outer diameter 17 mm.
and I put it between of the bearings.

I have tried to ride longer distance with my second python.
yesterday the front tire got damage and I repaired put patch on the tube.

making some goods for rider

At first, I need a mirror to see back side.

 It's made from brass pipe and sheet.

 This view is from inside of helmet.

 Next one is holder for smart phone. I use experia ray which was released in 2011.

 I attach silicon rubber case to my phone. So The holder which made from just metal doesn't have any problem.

Last one is plug for the edge of the handle bar. The material is wood called Ziricote.

Riding my python designed by my self

After completing the built. I rode it.

Mission has completed

I built my bike today. The Kandy blue was looked different with yesterday's.

 At first The seat was built. How nice seat which is made from iron.

 Then I started built the body. I had done during the morning.

 The construction is interesting.

 at about 13:30, We could see it.

 It looks twisting.

 This is the factory's name which is written in chinese character. It is read Fuuden. The meaning is the fog comes from the top of mountain through valley. You can see the photos of Fuuden on the google.

 It came back to my house.

Left one isn't right one's father or mother :-) The left one is a replica of the python lowracer. we can get the info from the web site " Python lowracer". and The right one is new one designed by my self and Fuuden factory supported making it. The other persons gave me some hints, for example, semi-automatic welding, the order of the screw and washer and nut and many thing. I have thankful feeling to them.

I use two colors for my bike which were made by myself. The colors are yellow and blue. Because Swedish python lovers gave me hints when I started learning the python which has front drive and mid-steering. Painting

I sanded it too much fast. So my new bike doesn't have smooth surface. But I want to ride it right now. I'm like kid.

 Urethane  surfacer's color is cream. I didn't know it.

 The master of Fuuden painted almost of the parts.

The yellow looked shiny.

 This is handle.

 The color of paint and masking tape look same color.

 Main body is painted with Kandy paint. Kandy is one of high quality painting way.
We can see metal or pearl, mica. By these painting way, gradation can't be made.

 At first, surfacer, second silver metalic, at last clear blue are painted.

 I took lesson about painting by the master, then I tried it. this is for the first time.

 The master painted clear for the finish.

 Amazing ! really amazing. I regret that I had to brush the parts more.

 Really nice. Tomorrow, these parts will be built. Then I will ride it. On above photo, we can see new part to stay the handle.

This project isn't about making my new bike just for me. I think that I bring the technical drawing to the prison and the prisoners make this frame then people buy it and enjoy riding it. I want to make such social buisiness cycle in here. Off course I'm very poor so I need the way to earn money for my life.

rubbing and applying putty

Yesterday and today, I have applied putty to my new bike. The temparature is low. I should to wait by sanding for more many hours.

 If I can weld well, I don't have to applying putty like this.

 I need get more practice to brush my skill of welding.

 Turn triangles look nice. two triangles place near. the smallest one is place far.
Which cities do have 3 triangles ?

The master of this factory named Fuuden likes house cleaning. The blue python is a replica based on the original python lowracer. The fender is broken. it is made from one kind of plastic. it's too weak.
This time, the fenders for my new python were made from the iron.

test riding movie

today, some changements were done.

First, the position of BB shell. I designed it to be movable. but ordinally we can buy 104 links of chain for 9 speed. So, I fixed the position to fit to such 1 package of chain.

Second, About position of the seat, I redesigned it's movable to front and back.
and the seat angle was changed by that. for comfortable pedaling, the seat is set more back.

Then, test riding !

First test riding

I rode my new bike today and I forgot taking some more photos.

 We had snow from last night.

The seat is laying too much and the crank is too near.
I thought that my legs should be extended, but This is 20 inch python and isn't road racer. The distance between seat and crank maybe good.

making handle

Today was 3rd day at Fuuden factory to make my new bike.

 He cut the edge of the seat.

 He cut the pipe for handle.

 This is Fuuden Factory. After that, His friend who is racer and engineer visited here. and The master of Fuuden asked him to explain about welding machine. Then I went to the engineer and racer's factory and I had nice experience there.

 When I came back to Fuuden Factory. The handle has already finished !

 The focus isn't good. The brake lever has a pin which works as parking brake. It's his invention.

 Then the parts of cables were soldered.

 My new python is laying down by tomorrow.

The master is very shy. He has some mask which work as Helmet for motor bike.
